MM Distillery profile:
The Isle of Jura distillery is located so close to the island of Islay that they often participate in the annual 'Feis Ile' whisky festival of the Islay distilleries. But even though the Isle of Jura distillery is located just a ferry ride away from 'the parish of peat', its house style is completely different. They produced a few peated batches, but most of the regular expressions show a trademark oily profile - not unlike cod liver oil. It's a trait I've also found in.... More on Malt Madness.
