Please not that this page will be entirely re-designed and updated within the coming weeks... (several new bottlings are missing)

Work in Progress... It's time to talk a little about the different bottlings. So here's a list of all the Broras I know. There aren't that many, as Brora isn't Ardbeg, nor Port Ellen, not to mention The Macallan. But again, this doesn't mean the issue isn't complicated...

Today, Douglas Laing seem to be the greatest specialists. They offer some terrific bottlings in their three ranges, Provenance, Old Malt Cask and Platinum. The Platinums are the best ones, but some Old Malt Cask which have been released prior to the launch of the Platinum series were just as great. Both UDV (the rare Malts Series) and Gordon & MacPhail did also botlle a bunch of great Broras, not to mention Signatory Vintage, the latter bottling only Broras from the 80's, as far as I know...

The Scotch Malt Whisky Society bottled some great, great Broras as well.

To read some detailed tasting notes, just click on next to each bottling. A new small window will open.

There must be some bottlings missing on these lists. Don't hesitate to email me any addition, thanks a lot in advance!

Please, tell me all you know for certain about some Brora bottlings, that could help me complete and/or change this or that aspect of these page's content. Just drop me an email here (remove NOSPAM).

Want to swap?... Good idea! All the bottles on the list which are not written in blue are of special interest to me, either because I haven't got them, or because I've only got one bottle. So, if you've got one (or more) of these bottles you're willing to get rid of, please drop me an email. I've got many bottles I'm willing to swap (Ardbegs, Port Ellens, Highlanders, Speysiders etc.) And of course, some Broras as well!

If you do, you will receive a message by e-mail eveytime Maltmaness.com, or the Malt Maniacs part, or its satellite sites like this one are significantly updtated. What's more, every now and then you'll receive sneak previews, news about events and more. All free, all digital. And don't worry about us flooding your inbox with meaningless chatter or commercially tainted 'information'. Of course, our mailinglist isn't, and won't be communicated to any third party. If your address was already on the Maltmadness.com mailinglist before, and if you haven't heard from us since quite a long time, maybe it has been lost in Johannes' hard drive big crash, so don't hesitate to send your address again. Of course, all your comments or questions are welcome as well! Don't forget to remove 'NOSPAM'' after having clicked here: valentin@NOSPAMcalixo.net
