Distillery profile:
Glenglassaugh is a 'coastal' distillery, located
on the north coast of Speyside near Banff and Glen
Deveron. The rivers Spey and Deveron flow into the
North Sea nearby. Glenglassaugh was founded in 1875.
It fell silent from 1907 to 1931 and operated again
until 1936. Glenglassaugh was revived and completely
rebuilt in 1960 - but then it was yet again mothballed
